Thursday, 01 February 2007 00:00
Atlantis Systems International (ASI) Awards Diamond Visionics Visual Contract for Danish Multi-Role Helicopter (DMRH EH101) Cockpit Procedures Trainer (CPT).  The trainer will be used in support of conversion and steady state training.  The Visual system will provide a three-channel out-the-window visual scene with a field of view of 120 degrees horizontally and 30 degrees vertically.  The visual system will also include a separate video channel to provide a correlated, generic Electro Optical Sensor/ FLIR image.  Diamond Visionics will provide the GenesisRT worldwide visualization system as the IG at the heart of the visual system.  This will allow the students to fly anywhere in the world and see representative terrain texture, equivalent to 1m resolution, for every location.  For specified areas, satellite imagery will be used, providing a geo-specific view of the area.
